Application:

Thioridazine Hydrochloride (CAS: 130-61-0) is a potent antianxiety and antipsychotic agent. It is the parent compound of sulforidazine and mesoridazine. This compound has been reported to bind strongly to dopamine receptors on cancer stem cells and cause differentiation leaving normal cells alone. Thioridazine Hydrochloride is a calcium channel protein inhibitor as well as D2DR/D4DR inhibitor. Its administration has been associated with hypotension. It has also been, after chronic treatment, used to test increased sensitivity of dopaminergic agents. Thioridazine is a piperidine typical antipsychotic drug belonging to the phenothiazine widely used in the treatment of schizophrenia and psychosis. It primary use in medicine was the treatment of schizophrenia.This medication is used to treat certain mental/mood disorders (e.g., schizophrenia). Thioridazine Hydrochloride is a calcium channel protein inhibitor as well as a D2DR/D4DR inhibitor.
